Sheena Lea Carlson and Jamie Allan Meyer, both of Omaha, Neb., announce their engagement and approaching marriage on May 10, 2008, at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Omaha.

Parents of the couple are Scott and Sheila Carlson of Omaha, and Paul and Becky Meyer of Fort Calhoun, Neb.

Grandparents of the bride-to-be are Edna Carlson and the late Holly Carlson of Minden, Neb., and Erma Jean Scharff and the late Delmer Scharff of Minden.

Grandparents of the bridegroom-to-be are Edwin and Charlotte Meyer of Le Mars, and Joseph Delutri and the late Velma Delutri of Merrill.

Sheena is a 2001 graduate of Kearney High School and a 2002 graduate of Xenon School of International Hair Design in Omaha. She is currently employed as a regional sales manager of Kenra.

Jamie is a 1999 graduate of Northwest High School in Omaha, and a 2002 graduate of Metro Community College in Omaha. He is currently employed with a family-owned business, Four Seasons.
