Laura E. Wheeler, 96, of Kingsley, died Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2008, at her home.

A memorial service will take place at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Kingsley United Methodist Church with the Rev. Roger Kurtenbach officiating. A private family burial will take place at the Kingsley Cemetery prior to the memorial service. Visitation and viewing will begin at 2 p.m. Friday at the Johnson - Earnest Funeral Home of Kingsley. The family will be present from 5 to 8 p.m. There will also be one hour of visitation at the church prior to the service on Saturday.
