Ashley Barfels and Aaron Prieksat were married May 26, 2007 in Waterloo.

Parents of the couple are Dan and Kathy Barfels of Cedar Falls and Carl Prieksat and Diane Prieksat, both of Le Mars.

The Rev. Dr. Scott Paczkowski performed the 5 p.m. ceremony at Westminster Presbyterian Church.

Attending the bride were her sister, Kristen Oliver of Waterloo; Amber Greenfield of Le Mars, sister of the bridegroom; Carrie Cederlund of Phoenix and Tracy Arthur of West Des Moines.

The bridegroom's attendants were Kurt White of West Des Moines; Mason Prieksat of Le Mars, brother of the bridegroom; Bryce Hemme of Ankeny, and Kyle Dreckman of Sioux Falls, S.D.

Seating guests were Mark Oliver of Waterloo, brother-in-law of the bride, and Kelly Greenfield of Le Mars, brother-in-law of the bridegroom.

The bride is a computer teacher at Norwalk Middle School, and the groom is a CPA with Ernst and Young in Des Moines.

The couple lives in Norwalk.
