NEWBURGH, Ind. -- Dr. Edward Ehizojie Oamen, Ph.D., of Newburgh, Ind., and a former Le Mars resident, died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2008, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital.

Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Evansville, Ind., with the Rev. Bernard T. Etienne officiating. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today (Monday), with a memorial service at 7 p.m., at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S. Hebron Avenue, Evansville, Ind. Visitation will continue 9 a.m. to service time at the church.
