Larry Gene Mathers, 63, passed from this life on Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2008, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

Visitation will be held after 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, at Iles Funeral Homes-Westover Chapel in Des Moines, where the family will greet friends from 3 to 5 p.m. and a Masonic service will follow.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 14, at United Congregational Church of Christ in Kingsley. Burial with honors will take place at Kingsley Cemetery.

The Rohde-Earnest Funeral Home of Kingsley is in charge of local arrangements.
