Ashley M. Rassel, 22, of Marcus, died suddenly and unexpectedly on Friday, Jan. 4, 2008, at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City.

Funeral services will take place at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Faith Lutheran Church in Marcus. The Rev. Liz Pfeifle will officiate. Burial will follow at the Marcus Amherst Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the church with the family present from 5 to 8 p.m. There will also be one hour of visitation at the church prior to the funeral.

The Earnest-Johnson Funeral Home in Marcus is in charge of arrangements.
