Lyle and Phyllis (Kessenich) Schroeder of Granville, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a Mass of Thanksgiving on Jan. 5, 2008 at 5 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Granville, followed by a family dinner hosted by their children.

Lyle and Phyllis are the parents of Alan and Laurie Schroeder, Dan and Julia Schroeder, all of Granville, Steve and Carla Schroeder of Remsen and Janet and Tom Zenk of Omaha, Neb. They have 21 grandchildren.

Lyle Schroeder and the former Phyllis Kessenich were married on Jan. 8, 1958, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Neptune by Rev. Gerold Wingert.
