Ida La Von Knapp, 80, of Akron, died Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2007, at the Akron Care Center.

Prayer service will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, at Carlsen Funeral Home -- Schroeder Chapel in Akron. David Husmann will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sioux City. Visitations will be after 4 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, with the family present after 6 p.m., all at the funeral home.
