Wendy Peters and Chad Cody were united in marriage on June, 2, 2007, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Le Mars. The Rev. James Tigges officiated the 2 p.m. double ring ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Donald and Jeanette Peters of Benbrook, Texas and Jeff and Cindy Cody of Sheldon.

Erin O'Toole was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Jenn Heithus, sister of the bride, Hollie Stone, Becky Scardina, and Tanya Timmins. Junior bridesmaid was Jasmine Heithus, niece and godchild of the bride. Serving as honorary bridesmaid was Heather Cody, sister of the bridegroom.

Phyllis Hartwig, godmother of the bride, served as the bride's personal attendant.

Matthew Peters, brother of the bride, was the best man. Groomsmen were Quinn Bailey, Mike Lilly, Kyle Miller, and Matt Determan. Junior groomsman was Dawson Heithus, nephew of the bride.

Seating the guests were Dennis Price and Alicia Learing.

The dinner reception and dance was held at the Brunsville Legion Club at 5 p.m.

Wendy is employed at Car-Go Express in Le Mars and Chad is employed with VandeBerg Scales in Sioux Center.

Following a week-long camping and fishing trip, the couple is at home in Brunsville.
