Guy and Sandy Pick of Iowa City, formerly of Remsen, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Elizabeth to Jeremy Bixby. He is the son of Larry and Karen Bixby, currently residing in Florissant, Mo.

The couple is planning a Dec. 22, 2007, wedding in St. Louis, Mo.

Both Elizabeth and Jeremy will graduate from Rice University in Houston, Texas, in May 2008 with master's degrees in political science.
