Twenty-seven Le Mars businesses will have a specially-themed decorated Christmas tree at their location. Cards must be stamped at 10 or more businesses and registration information filled out. Drop it off at one of the participating businesses Friday, Saturday or Sunday, Nov. 23, 24 and 25.

Eligible entries will have the opportunity to win a flat screen TV, snow thrower or a notebook computer. The prizes, on display in the window at Claussen's at the corner of Plymouth Street and Central Avenue, are made possible by the support of Primebank, American Bank, Vantus Bank and First National Bank.

"We invite all our customers to shop Le Mars and take part in the Parade of Trees at the participating businesses," said Robin Grosenheider. "Each business has take special care in decorating their tree in a unique theme."

Children will want to be on hand Saturday as Santa Claus makes his first visit to Le Mars. Santa will arrive at 11 a.m. and will be headquartered at Claussen's. The jolly old elf will be available to listen to children's wish lists.
