That is about 21 percent turnout for eligible voters in this election.

Numbers were nearly double those of the 2005 city elections, when 1,327 people voted across Plymouth County.
"This was actually a very well-attended election for a city election," said County Auditor Kae Meyer. "It was much bigger than expected, because of the race. We don't normally speaking have races for city offices. We had races in every city in Plymouth County except one. Remsen did not have any race whatsoever."
This November's election cost the county $5,253 in total.
"That would be a little over $2 a vote," said Supervisor Chairman Jim Henrich.
The largest portion of that covered the Le Mars city elections -- about $1,550.
This year's total cost to the county was about $1,000 more than the total for 2005's city elections, which came with a $4,368 price tag.
Election cost includes paying for publication, election workers, paper supplies, ballots, postage and envelopes.
