Jim and Dorothy Klemme of Le Mars together with Alphonse and Carilyn Balducci of Harrisonville, Mo., announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their children, Kirk James Klemme and April Lynn Balducci, both of Sherman Oaks, Calif.

The couple is planning a 6 p.m. wedding and dinner reception Sept. 28, 2007, in Burbank, Calif.

Kirk is a 1997 graduate of Le Mars Community High School and a 2001 graduate of the University of Iowa. He is a sales consultant with Paychex in Encino, Calif.

April is a 1997 graduate of Harrisonville Senior High School in Harrisonville, Mo., and attended Valley College in Sherman Oaks, Calif.
