Heather and Jeffrey Morehead

Heather Margaret Borchers and Jeffrey Bryan Morehead were united in marriage on June 16, 2007 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Craig. The Rev. Dr. Jean A. Ziettlow, cousin of the bride, officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Dave and Becky Borchers of Akron, and the bridegroom is the son of Russ and Cindy Hauser of Akron and Lance and Tina Morehead of Oto.

Maid of honor was Holly Borchers, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Alexa Wolff, Cara Juffer, Sarah Bartels, and Kristine Borgardt. Junior bridesmaid was Lindsay Hartgraves, cousin of the bride.

Best man was Chad Morehead, brother of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Josh Hauser, Chad Utesch, Bobby Walrod, and Matt Minor.

Seating the wedding guests were Mark Leekley, Chris Juffer, Clayton Coleman, and Lerin Jurgensen.

A reception, dinner, and dance were held at the Hole 'N the Wall Lodge of Akron.

Grandparent of the bride is Inez Borchers. Grandparents of the bridegroom are Howard and Diane Reuschling, Doris Moritz, and Arlene Morehead.

Heather graduated from Akron-Westfield High School in 2002. She then went on to graduate from Augustana College in May 2006 with a bachelor's degree in nursing. She is employed at the Akron Mercy Medical Clinic as a registered nurse.

Jeff graduated from Akron-Westfield High School in 2001. He then graduated from the University of South Dakota in December 2006 with a bachelors of business administration degree. Jeff is working in sales and customer service at Heyl Trucklines in Akron.

After their wedding trip on a Caribbean cruise to the Cayman Islands and Cozumel, the couple is at home in Akron.
