Katie and Graham Gerjerts

Katie Bohnenkamp of Overland Park, Kan., and Graham Gerjerts of Lenexa, Kan., were united in marriage May 26, 2007, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church at Neptune, rural Hinton. The Rev. Roger Linnan officiated the 3 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Bob and Jeanne Bohnenkamp of Le Mars. The bridegroom is the son of Greg Gerjerts and Kate Gerjerts of Cedar Falls.

Mary Margaret Wachter was organist and soloist was Anna Javellana.

Julie Bohnenkamp of Cary, N.C., was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jenny Kingsley of Denver, Colo., Traci McCausland of Olathe, Kan., Jodi Busch of Overland Park, Kan., and Payten Gerjerts of Chicago, Ill.

The bride's personal attendant was Terra Harpenau of Remsen.

Kyle Gerjerts of Chicago served as best man. Groomsmen were Ryan Schwertner of Olathe, Kan., Chad Wessel of Overland Park, Kan., Marty Bohnenkamp of Homewood, Ala., and Matt Bohnenkamp of Oak Forest, Ill.

Seating the wedding guests were Chris Phillips of Spring Hill, Kan., Art Milnes of Olathe, Kan., Eric Peters of Shawnee, Kan., and Katie Bar of Homewood, Ala.

The reception was held at the Le Mars Convention Center.

Katie graduated from the University of Iowa in 2000 and from the University of Northern Iowa in 2002. She is employed in the Olathe School District as a seventh grade special education teacher, and junior high track and volleyball coach.

Graham graduated from the University of Iowa in 2002 and is employed at Cerner Corp. as a software engineer.

The couple took a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, and are at home in Lenexa, Kan.
