Dennis Lammers, age 57, of rural Alton, died Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2007, at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Lincoln, Neb., as a result of injuries received in an explosion in Sioux Center last week.

There will be a funeral service at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Alton Reformed Church. The Rev. Michael Hardeman and The Rev. Elizabeth Hardeman will officiate. Interment will follow at the Nassua Township Cemetery near Alton. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Friday, with the family present from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Oolman Funeral Home in Orange City.
