NIcole Skinner and Kurt White of Pleasant Hill, along with their parents, Paul Skinner and Karen Skinner of Dubuque and Ken and Donni White of Le Mars, announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

The couple is planning a 4 p.m. wedding on Sept. 15, 2007, at First Congregational United Church o Christ in Dubuque with the reception to follow at Happy's Place.

Nicole is a 2002 graduate of Dubuque Senior High School and a 2006 grduated of the University of Northern Iowa. She is employed at Acute Care, Inc. in Ankeny.

Kurt is a 2001 graduate of Le Mars Community High School and a 2006 graduate of the University of Northern Iowa. He is employed with Polk County.
