Russell and Julie Schoenherr, rural Sioux City, announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Rae Schoenherr to Dr. Zach Dannenbring of Iowa City, son of Terry and Karen Dannenbring of Anchorage Alaska.

The couple plans a Sept. 8, 2007, wedding in Sioux City.

Amanda is a 1999 graduate of Le Mars Community High School and is a 2003 honors graduate of The University of Iowa with a degree in microbiology. She is currently enrolled at Des Moines University pursuing her degree in osteopathic medicine.

Dr. Dannenbring is a 1999 graduate of Dimond High School in Anchorage, Alaska. He is a 2003 graduate of the University of Iowa pre-dentistry program and a 2007 graduate of the University of Iowa School of Dentistry. Dr. Dannenbring is currently practicing dentistry in Iowa City.
