Jim and Beverly Renken of Elk Point, S.D., and Eleanore Bernard and the late Charles Bernard Sr., announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their children, Angela Renken and Charles Bernard Jr.

Angela of Alcester, S.D., is employed as a nurse at the Akron Care Center, and is also employed at the Ronald McDonald House as a weekend manager.

Charles of Sioux Falls, S.D., is employed as an image processing specialist for Science Applications International Corporation at the USGS Eros Data Center.

The couple became engaged at the Ronald McDonald House and a Sept. 16, 2007 wedding is planned.
