Joe and Marilyn Bernardo of Algona along with Gary and Carol Christoffel of Granville are pleased to , announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their children, Gina Bernardo and David Christoffel.

The couple will be married on Sept. 8, 2007, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Granville The couple currently resides in DeKalb, Ill.

Gina is a 2003 graduate of Algona High School and a 2006 graduate of Des Moines Area Community College with an A.S. degree in business administration. She is currently employed with Castle Bank as a customer service representative. David is a 2002 graduate of Spalding Catholic High School and a 2006 graduate of Iowa State University with a B.S. degree in ag studies and agronomy. He is currently employed with Monsanto as a seed production supervisor.
