It's time for the Plymouth County Fair

With last-minute details being attended to, commercial exhibitors setting up displays, and 4-H and FFA members bringing in projects and livestock, it's time for the 2007 edition of the Plymouth County Fair.

Timed events for the 4-H and FFA Horse show took place Monday evening at the horse arena, and this morning (Tuesday) began with judging of the 4-H exhibits at 8 a.m. in Century Hall. The fair board will host a Chamber "After 5" event this evening in Century Hall, all in anticipation of the five full days of fair activities.

The schedule of events for Wednesday include:

7:30-10:30 a.m. - Rabbit entries in place

8 a.m. 12 noon - 4-H & FFA Livestock Entries in place

8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. - Plymouth County Garden Fare at Round Barn

9 a.m.-12 noon - Livestock Weigh-ins complete

9 a.m. - 4-H Exhibit Building Open

12 p.m. - Commercial Exhibits open

12 p.m. - Blair House Open

12-4 p.m. - Open Class Entries check-in -- Round Barn, Upper level

1 p.m. - 4-H & FFA Rabbit Show (begins with showmanship) -- Rabbit Barn

1 p.m. - 4-H Clothing Selection & Fashion Revue -- Century Hall

1 p.m. - 4-H & FFA Livestock Judging Contest Check-in -- Covered Arena

2 p.m. - 4-H & FFA Livestock Judging Contest -- Covered Arena

4-8 p.m. - Lego Booth -- South of Hall '84

4 p.m. - Cady's Juggling & Mime Show

4 p.m. - Sheep Scanning

4:30 p.m. - Grand Champion Photos -- 4-H Building

5 p.m. - Midway Rides Open

5:30 p.m. - Bucket Calf Check-in -- Covered Arena

6 p.m. - Bucket Calf Judging -- Covered Arena

6 p.m. - Cady's Juggling & Mime Show

7-8 p.m. - Open Class Horticulture & Foods Entries Check-In -- Round Barn, lower level

7 p.m. - King & Queen Crowning -- Grandstand immediately followed by White Horse Patrol

8 p.m. - Cady's Juggling & Mime Show

8:30 p.m. - Cady's "Learn to Juggle" Workshop

9 p.m.-12 midnight - Teen Dance -- Century Hall

10 p.m. - 4-H Exhibit Building and Blair House Close

10 p.m. - Commercial Exhibit Buildings Close

12 p.m. - Blair House Open/Commercial Exhibit Buildings Open

1 p.m. - Midway Rides Open

Fair Admission

Admission to the fair is by car pass, daily walk-in ticket or wristband (season individual pass) for walk-ins.

A season car pass is $25 for a car and occupants up to a maximum of four adults. Additional persons pay the one day admission of $6. The car pass is good for the entire five-day event.

The One-Day Admission is $6 per person plus car parking for $1 for the one day pass, for persons over 12 years of age. Children 12 years and under are $1.

A season individual pass is $10 for the wristband, which is used for walk-in admission only.
