Twenty-one young ladies representing Plymouth County 4-H clubs and FFA chapters are vying for the title of 2007 Plymouth County Fair Queen.

Crowning of the queen, and naming of two princesses and Miss Congeniality will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 25, in the grandstand arena, on the opening day of the Plymouth County Fair.

Judging for the queen candidates was held July 17 at the Primebank lower level.

Fair queen and king candidates held a joint tour day June 10, with a get-acquainted time in the afternoon, dinner, and a trip to Sioux City for an evening of bowling at Lewis Bowl on Hamilton Boulevard.
