Karl and Michelle Koch of Hartington, Neb., announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Amber Marie Koch, to Christopher Paul Collier, son of Everett Collier of Sioux City and Anita Collier of Le Mars.

An Aug. 18, 2007, wedding is planned at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Hartington, with a reception to follow at the Argo Hotel in Crofton, Neb.

Amber is a 2003 graduate of Cedar Catholic High School and a 2006 graduate of Iowa School of Beauty. She is employed at Hair by Stewards in Vermillion, S.D.

Christopher is a 2002 graduate of Le Mars Community High School and a 2006 graduate of Louis F. Garland Fire Academy. He is employed at the 185th Air Refueling Wing Fire Department in Sioux City.
