Charles F. Geringer, 60, of Marcus, died suddenly at his home on Sunday, July 8, 2007.

Charles Francis Geringer was born July 7, 1947. in Le Mars, the son of Harold and Alice (Dunn) Geringer. He was raised in Marcus and graduated from Marcus High School. Following his education, Chuck worked for various employers in the Marcus area until he began his career with Moorman's.

On Nov. 7, 1965, he married Wanda Self at the First Baptist Church in Le Mars. Chuck worked for Moorman's for several years prior to his retirement. He enjoyed fishing and especially spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He will be lovingly remembered by his two sons, Michael Geringer and Bradley Geringer, a daughter Gina Geringer; grandchildren Shane Geringer, Devin and Abby Leach, and Riley Geringer, all of Le Mars; a sister Gladys Means and her husband Vernon, and a brother Steve Geringer both of Marcus.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother Don Geringer.

A private family service will be held at a later date. The Earnest - Rohde Funeral Home is assisting Charles' family with funeral arrangements.
