Larry and Joyce Anderson of Le Mars and Dennis and Brenda Kaptein of Sunnyside, Wash., announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their children, Brandi Jo Anderson and Jason Dennis Kaptein.

The couple is planning an Aug. 11, 2007, ceremony at 3 p.m. at the Presbyterian United Church of Christ in Le Mars. The 5 p.m. reception will be held at the Eagles Club.

Brandi graduated from the University of Northern Iowa, and is employed as a summer school teacher at The Boys and Girls Home in South Sioux City, Neb.

Jason graduated from Northwest Iowa Community College in Sheldon and is empliyed at Maintainer in Sheldon.
