Smith was also the table-setter for all three of the Lady Westerners' runs on the night.
In the second inning, Smith drew a leadoff walk and courtesy runner Jordan Harris advanced to third on a Jessica Horton single, later scoring on a passed ball.
The fourth inning was the same as Smith hit a one-out single and Harris scored on a Horton RBI single. The three-peat came in the sixth as Smith hit a one-out single and Harris came around on Horton's single to left field.
Horton finished 3 for 3 with two RBIs, while Smith was 2 for 2 with a double. Alison Kusler also had a double as A-W finished with six hits.
Colt gave Unity credit for keeping the game close until the end.
"The game went exactly like I was planning on," said Colt. "We knew it was going to be a tough game from the start and it was a tough game to the last out.
"I was pleased with how we hit the ball - we only struck out twice. Unity just did an awesome job on defense tonight."
A-W (17-0) will now face South O'Brien in another WEC match-up Wednesday in Paullina.
