Debi Whitaker and Tony Cronin are happy to announce their engagement and upcoming marriage. Debi is the daughter of Dena and David Amo of Brooklyn, and Dennis and Deborah Whitaker of Grinnell. Tony is the son of Mark and Kim Cronin of Marcus.

Debi is a 2006 graduate of the University of Northern Iowa with a B.A. in biology, biomedical. She is employed as a production scientist at Integrated DNA Technologies, Coralville.

Tony is a 2005 graduate of Iowa State University with a B.S. in agronomy. He is currently farming and hauling distillers grain for Mark Cronin Trucking, Marcus.

Debi and Tony met each other while attending their friend's wedding. The couple plans to be married August 4, 2007 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Grinnell.
