LINCOLN, Neb. -- Janice Smith, 65, of Lincoln, Neb., entered into eternal rest on Saturday, June 9, 2007, joining her husband, Donald.

Janice was born March 24, 1942, in Le Mars, the daughter of John and Gladys Marie Rush.

She was a member of Cathedral of the Risen Christ in Lincoln.

Survivors include two sons, Don Smith Jr. of Lincoln and Greg and his wife, Kristy Smith of Lincoln, Neb.; two daughters and their husbands, Pam and Mark Cuttler and Lisa and Don Rinke, all of Lincoln; grandchildren, Cody and Bailey Smith, Mackenzie Cuttler, Wil Smith and Kelsi and Nick Rinke; and three brothers, Fred and his wife, Cheryl Rush of Merrill, Dave Rush of Merrill and Tim and his wife, Anita Rush of Omaha, Neb.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Smith Sr.; her parents; and a sister, Phyllis.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Cathedral of the Risen Christ, 3500 Sheridan Boulevard, Lincoln. Visitation will be 1 to 8 p.m. today (Tuesday), with a 7 p.m. rosary, at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 South 14th Street, Lincoln.
