Tancredo to host 'conservative breakfast forum' in Le Mars

Republican Presidential candidate Tom Tancredo will be hosting a series of forums with party activists throughout northwest Iowa Saturday, June 9, including one stop in Le Mars.

The congressman from Colorado will be hosting what his campaign staff is billing as a "Conservative Breakfast Forum" from 9 to 10 a.m., Saturday, at Le Mars' Family Table Restaurant.

From Le Mars, Tancredo will heading to a "meet and greet" at Orange City's Pizza Ranch from 11 a.m. to noon, and then will be hosting a "Patriotic Reception" at the Clay County Administrative Building in Spencer from 2 to 3 p.m.

According to campaign organizer Angie Weaver, all of the events are free and open to public.

"Nobody will need to RSVP or have a ticket," she says. "If fact, we encourage people to bring a friend. We want everyone to get a chance to meet Tom Tancredo."
