Dorothy E.J. Utesch, 81, of Le Mars, died Wednesday, May 16, 2007, at Good Samaritan Village (Brentwood Center in Le Mars.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church (Preston Township), rural Akron, with the Rev. Jerry Crow officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

Visitation begin at 2 p.m. Friday at the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars. The family will be present from 5 to 8 p.m. and there will be a prayer service at 7 p.m. There will also be one hour of visitation at the church prior to the funeral.
