Kerry and Jeff Leuck of West Lafayette, Ind., and William and Jane Prichard of Le Mars announce the engagement of their daughter, Karissa Prichard to Carter Fritz, both of Otterbein, Ind. Carter is the son of Jean and Devon Fritz of Fowler, Ind.

The couple is planning an Oct. 13, 2007, wedding at First Baptist Church in Lafayette, Ind.
