Mark J. Meis, 83, of Phoenix, Ariz., and Okoboji, and formerly of Le Mars, died Monday, April 23, 2007, at Mayo Hospital in Phoenix, Ariz.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 30, at St. James Catholic Church in Le Mars. The Rev. James Tigges will celebrate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Le Mars. Visitation will be after 1 p.m. Sunday, April 29, with the family present after 4 p.m., and a Scriptural wake service at 5 p.m., all at Carlsen Funeral Home in Le Mars. Visitation will resume one hour prior to Mass on Monday at the church.
