Roman Ortmann, 82, of Remsen, died Monday, April 23, 2007, at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Remsen with the Rev. William McCarthy officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday, with a parish rosary at 3 p.m., and a prayer vigil at 7:30 p.m.

The Fisch Funeral Home of Remsen is in charge of arrangements.
