Heidi Hultquist and Loran Weiler Jr., of Ames, announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

Heidi is the daughter of Bev and the late Brian Hultquist of Brunsville. Loran is the son of Doris and Loran Weiler of Le Mars.

The couple is planning a June 9, 2007, ceremony at 3 p.m. at St. John's American Lutheran Church in Le Mars. Following the ceremony a reception and dance will be held at the Brunsville Legion Club.

After the wedding the couple will be making their home in Ames.
