He was born to Alfred & Lucille (Larson) Beeck on Nov. 1, 1942 in Sioux City. Jerry was raised in Le Mars. Among his passions were racing stock cars and owning his own race team with his son, Jerry. He enjoyed all motor sports and spending time with his family.
Jerry owned and operated BEC Metal Fab, Inc. and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Survivors include two sons and daughter-in-law, Jerry Jr. and Patti Beeck of Lincoln, Neb., and Jeff Beeck of Castle Rock, Colo.; Grandchildren: Turner and Jilian Beeck, Castle Rock, Colo.; step-grandchildren: JoNeil Walker, Waverly, Neb., Brian Piper, Waverly, Neb.; stepgreat-grandchildren: Jade Barry, Waverly, Neb., and Derek Walker, Waverly, Neb.; brothers and sisters-in-law: Howard and Pat Beeck, Lincoln, Neb., Alfred and Susan Beeck, Lincoln, Neb., Darrell Beeck, Lincoln, Neb., Jim and Nitha Beeck, Lincoln, Neb.; sister and brother-in-law: Belinda and Dale Rinnels of Remsen; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 S. 14th Street in Omaha, with Pastor Bill Thornton officiating. The body was cremated and there will be no viewing or visitation. Private inurnment at Resthaven Cemetery in Le Mars.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in care of the family for charitable contribution.
