Dennis and Lola Johansen of Le Mars announce the engagement and approacing marriage of their son, David Alan Johansen, to Heather Ilene Rose. She is the daughter of David and Rita Rose of Mapleton.

The couple plans an April 14, 2007, wedding in Mapleton with the reception to follow at Dana Hall in Danbury.

David and Heather will make their home in Norwalk after a wedding trip to Colorado.
