Jacqui Wells and Cody Nelson of Scottsdale, Ariz., were united in marriage in Dec. 16, 2006, at the Presbyterian United Church of Christ in Le Mars. The Rev. Drew Tomberlin officiated the 6 p.m. double ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Dan and Lisa Wells of Le Mars. The bridegroom is the son of Dan Nelson and Bonnie Nelson, both of Chandler, Ariz.

Kenzie Wells of Le Mars, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kathryn Wells of Milwaukee, Wis., Maddie Maser of Chicago, Ill., Ashley Sornsen of Ames, Ashley Ferguson of Cedar Falls and Jen Arn of Phoenix, Ariz.

The bride's personal attendants were Shelly Ragan of Omaha, Neb., and Steph Oswald of Remsen.

Jesse Nelson of Chandler, Ariz., brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Groomsmen were Devon Kelley, Jerry Ryder, Brian Terry, Charles Kubiak and Dale Cockrell, all of Phoenix, Ariz.

Drake Oswald of Remsen was ringbearer.

Seating the guests were Joe Wells of South Bend, Ind., Jack Oswald of Remsen, and Nick Ragan of Omaha, Neb.

The reception was held at the Hole N' The Wall Lodge at Akron at 7 p.m. for 500 guests.

Jacqui is a 2003 graduate of Le Mars Community High School, and attended the Art Institute of Phoenix for interior design and John Robert Powers for modeling. She is employed as a print model with The Agency Arizona.

Cody is a 2000 graduate of Dobson High School in Chandler, Ariz., and is a Sergeant with the 03-11 Infantry United States Marine Corps. He served in Iraq in 2003 and has four years of honorable service. He is employed as a personal trainer at Mountainside Fitness.

The couple is at home in Scottsdale, and will take a wedding trip at a later date.
