Dave and Becky Borchers of Akron announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Heather Borchers to Jeff Morehead, son of Russ and Cindy Hauser of Akron and Lance and Tina Morehead of Anthon.

Heather graduated from Akron-Westfield Community High School in 2002. She attended Augustana College in Sioux Falls and graduated in May 2006 with a bachelor's degree in nursing. Heather currently works as a registered nurse at both Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City and at the Akron Mercy Medical Clinic.

Jeff graduated from Akron-Westfield Community High School in 2001. He attended the University of South Dakota in Vermillion and graduated in December 2006 with a bachelor's degree in business administration. He is currently employed as a sales representative for Heyl Truck Lines in Akron.

The couple is planning a June 16, 2007 wedding at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Craig, with the reception at the Hole N' The Wall Lodge to follow the ceremony. The couple will reside in Akron.
