HAWARDEN -- Marlys J. (Larson) Schmidt, 73, of Hawarden, died Friday, March 16, 2007, at Hillcrest Health Care Center in Hawarden.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at American Lutheran Church in Hawarden, with the Rev. A. Pete Petersen officiating. Burial will be in Grace Hill Cemetery at Hawarden. Visitation will begin noon today (Tuesday), with a prayer service at 7 p.m., at Porter Funeral Home in Hawarden.
