Etheline Margaret Kosse, 82, of Ralston, Neb., died Wednesday, March 7, 2007, in Omaha, Neb.

The former Etheline Gengler was born Dec. 26, 1924, in Remsen, the daughter of Leo and Ann Gengler.

Survivors include her husband, Paul Kosse; daughter, Mary Jo Penny of Ralston, Neb.; son, Jim Kosse and wife Karen of Elkhorn, Neb.; grandchildren: Sherry Norris, Jeffrey Kosse, Lori Zoucha, Jennifer Ward, Brian Kosse; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Joann Nitzschke of Remsen; brothers, Daryl Gengler and wife Kay of Arnolds Park, Marvin Gengler and wife Ann of Boone, and Paul Gengler and wife Jan of Clive; a sister-in-law, Mary Gengler of Remsen; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by parents, Leo and Ann Gengler; a brother, Donald Gengler and a brother-in-law, Donald Nitzschke.

Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Gerald Catholic Church, 96th & "Q" in Omaha. Interment was in Hillcrest Cemetery in Omaha. Visitation was at the Heafey-Heafey-Hoffmann-Dworak-Cutler West Center Chapel,with a vigil service at 7 p.m. Friday, and a prayer service at 9:30 a.m. Saturday.

Memorials may be directed to Methodist Hospital Foundation to benefit cardiac and stroke care.
