Bob Kerr, 83, of Akron, died Tuesday, March 6, 2007, at Happy Siesta Health Care Center in Remsen.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Wesley United Methodist Church in Akron with the Rev. Laurice Streyffeler officiating. The Hoschler American Legion Post 186 of Akron will conduct military rites. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church. The Carlson Funeral Home - Schroeder Chapel in Akron, is in charge of arrangements.
