The Omaha-based magician caught the "magic bug" at the tender age of eight. This was when he discovered a makeshift cape and a cardboard hat stored away in his older brother's closet.
Little did Cole know that some brotherly snooping on his part would lead to a life of prestidigitation.
Cole's been refining his act for the past fifteen years, entertaining at colleges and the corporate world with some sizzling sleigh-of-hand.
In fact, his act has received coveted "Best Close-Up Magician" and "Most Original Act" awards at magic competitions held throughout the country.
Describing his act as one part comedy, one part magic, and two parts audience participation, Cole is frequently seen at Los Angeles' Magic Castle where only "the best of the best" are invited to perform.
And now he'll be displaying his meaty magic chops for Plymouth County Cattlemen.
Prior to Cole's show, guests will be the evening with a social hour at 6:30 p.m., with dinner being served at 7 p.m.
In addition, Kevin Carstensen, president of the Iowa Cattlemen's Association Board of Directors, is tentatively scheduled to be speaking at the banquet.
Tickets for the annual Plymouth County Cattlemen's Banquet are available from president Lowell Vos at (712) 944-5110.
