George F. Vander Tuig, 87, of Le Mars, died Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2007, at Floyd Valley Hospital in Le Mars.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. John's Lutheran Church in Le Mars. The Rev. Gary Landsness will officiate. Wasmer Post #241 of the American Legion will be providing military honors.

Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Friday at the Mauer - Johnson Funeral Home of Le Mars. The family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. with a prayer service scheduled for 7 p.m. There will also be one hour of visitation at the church prior to the memorial service.
