Elizabeth Sue Fitzgerald and Mitchell Robert Less were united in marriage July 8, 2006, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Le Mars. The Rev. Gary Landsness officiated the 3 p.m. ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Terry and Jana Fitzgerald of Le Mars and Ken and Karla Less of Merrill. Grandparents are Lois Fitzgerald of Clare, and Bob and Bernice Less of Le Mars.

Emily Fitzgerald, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Ashley Fitzgerald, sister of the bride; Kirsten Lyon of Dallas, Texas; Angela Jones of Harrisburg, S.D.; and Carly Langston of Citrus Springs, Fla.

Best man was Andrew Less of Akron, brother of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Brent DenOuden of Akron; Clint Hughes of Westfield; Tony Tapper of Omaha, Neb., and Kyle Hoffman of Westfield.

Seating the guests were Luke Haage of Le Mars, Cody Moffatt, Jason Moffatt, and Josh Groon, all of Akron.

Flower girl was Chloe Bridgford, niece of the bridegroom, of Le Mars. Ringbearers were Jaxon Lehman of Ames, and Kolton Crocker of Omaha, Neb.

The personal attendants were Shelly Sommers and Dawn Pry, aunts of the bride.

Music was provided by Chordis, a string ensemble directed by Ted Hallberg. Soloist was Katie Fitzgerald, cousin of the bride.

The reception and dance followed the ceremony at the Le Mars Convention Center.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Le Mars Community High School and a 2005 graduate of Avera McKennan School of Radiologic Technology. She is currently working as a radiologic technologist at the Hawarden Community Hospital and South Sioux City Medical Clinic.

The bridegroom is a 2000 graduate of Akron-Westfield High School and farms with his family near Akron.

Following the wedding, the couple took a trip to the Black Hills. They are at home in Akron.
