Phil Dowling, 45, of Akron, died Monday, Jan. 22, 2007, at a Sioux City hospital.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church, E.L.C.A. in Akron, with the Rev. Jean Morse officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery at Akron.

Visitation will be after 3 p.m. Friday, with the family present after 6 p.m. and a prayer service at 7 p.m., all at the church. The Carlsen Funeral Home-Schroeder Chapel in Akron is in charge of arrangements.
