Edwin G. "Ed" Meister, 77, of Kingsley died peacefully following a brief battle with leukemia Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2007, at his residence with his family present.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Kingsley, with the Rev. Thomas J. Topf officiating. Burial will be in St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today (Friday), with a rosary at 4 p.m., the family present 5 to 7 p.m. and a wake Scripture service at 7 p.m., at Rohde-Earnest Funeral Home in Kingsley.
