Michelle Weiler and David W. Cunis of Holliston, Mass., were united in marriage Oct. 8, 2006, at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church in Ashland, Mass. Father R. Michael Guarino, uncle of the bridegroom, officiated the 2 p.m. double ring ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Pauline Weiler and the late David Weiler of Le Mars and William and Mary Ann Cunis of Ashland, Mass.

Providing the nuptial music were vocalists Mark Weiler and Terri Simodynes and organist Laura Romeo.

Matron of honor was Terri Simodynes of Ames, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Mary Kaschmitter of Papillion, Neb., and Cathy McKean of Dubuque, both sisters of the bride.

Michael Cunis was best man for his brother. Groomsmen were Kenneth Plourde of Upton, Mass., and William Germino of Norwood, Mass.

The reception for 170 guests was held at 3:30 p.m. at the Warren Conference Center in Ashland.

Michelle earned her bachelor of arts degree from Westmar College in Le Mars and is employed as a fifth grade teacher in the Ashland Public Schools.

David is a graduate of Boston College and Catholic University School of Law. He is a district court judge for Ayer District Court in Ayer, Mass.

Following their wedding trip to Florida, the couple is making their home in Holliston, Mass.
