Margaret was born March 15, 1923, in Roanoke, Va. She married Manford R. Wilcoxon, the love of her life, in March 1945. After owning and managing her own hair salon for 12 years and raising her two sons following the death of her husband in 1956, Margaret became a family caretaker where she spent time in Nebraska, Florida, Wisconsin, Arizona and Connecticut.
She retired in 1995 in Le Mars, where she enjoyed her church, visiting with friends, spending time with her dog, Princess, reading and, above all, visiting with her family.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Le Mars.
Survivors include two sons and their families, Frank and Sharisue Wilcoxon of Sioux City and Gene and Karen Wilcoxon of Hinton; seven grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Le Mars, with the Rev. Jon Meredith officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Township Cemetery, Larrabee. Visitation will be 2 to 8 p.m. today (Monday), with the family present 6 to 8 p.m., at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel in Sioux City.
Pallbearers will be family members, John Allenback, Greg Breyfogle, Joe Tobin, Paul Wilcoxon and Trevor Wilson.
