Dan and Lisa Wells of Le Mars announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Jacqui of Scottsdale, Ariz., to Cody Nelson of Scottsdale. He is the son of Dan Nelson and Bonnie Nelson of Chandler, Ariz.

The couple is planning a Dec. 16, 2006, wedding at Presbyterian United Church of Christ in Le Mars, with the reception to follow at Hole 'N The Wall Lodge at Akron.

Jacqui is a 2003 graduate of Le Mars Community High School. She is employed with Okay Models of Hamburg, Germany and Arizona Models of Scottsdale, Ariz.

Cody is a graduate of Chandler High Schol and is sergeant and platoon leader with the U.S. Marine Corps. He recently finished a tour of duty in Iraq and is currently employed at Pure Fitness.
