Barbara A. Thrun, 66, of rural Remsen, and formerly of Batavia, Ill., died Sunday, Nov. 12, 2006, at Plymouth Manor Care Center in Le Mars. Visitation will be held 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 18, at Moss Family Funeral Home 209 South Batavia Ave. (Route 31 & Main St.) Batavia, Ill. Funeral services will follow visitation at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Jeff Barrett officiating. Interment will be in River Hills Memorial Park in Batavia.

A memorial service will take place locally at a later date under the direction of the Mauer - Johnson Funeral Home of Le Mars.
